Duke our latest Great Dane
I answered an ad about a Dane in need of a home. I wasnt sure I was ready for that but I was willing to give it a go. Charlie missed having a dog and our attempt with a foster dog had just ended poorly. The lady who had Duke had little time she was being fined for having him and he was having problems. I was told he had all his shots but had issues with children. What a completely different experience I had with him. I saw this beautiful dog cruising my work parking lot hanging out of the window of an old Dodge. He was openly friendly and ready to meet everyone. To this day he has impressed me with perfect behavior and the best companionship you could ever ask from a family pet. He amuses himself with following anyone through the house and 'supervising'. When we are not at home he sleeps in everyone's beds.
To say he is now spoiled rotten is an understatement. He is loved by anyone that meets him as he is nothing but good. His only downside is that he LOVES the ladies. The dog is shameless and will flirt better than any pick-up artist.
